Pupil Premium
Pupil premium is funding to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England. Evidence shows that disadvantaged children generally face additional challenges in reaching their potential at school and often do not perform as well as other pupils.. The amount a school receives is dependent on the number of children who are in receipt of free school meals as well as looked after/ adopted children. All schools are required to report the amount of funding they receive and how this is being used.
At Bempton school we are inclusive and ensure all our children have access to the same education and experiences and therefore use our Pupil Premium funding to ensure this happens and support closing gaps.
Please see our Pupil Premium Strategy for full details.
