SEN and Disabilities
How We Support Our SEND Pupils
At Bempton Primary some of our pupils may need a little extra help and this is where our Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) support comes in. Each child with additional needs is offered different support tailored to meet their needs. Staff at Bempton work closely with our children, their parents and, where appropriate, outside agencies to develop each child’s individual support package.
Our SEND Offer
We have a dedicated team of staff who are constantly monitoring and updating the provision we provide to ensure that all pupils have fair access to learning and have what theyneed to get the most out of each day. Please see the information report below to explore our approach and how we can help both your child, and you, in accessing education. This document forms our school's offer for SEND and our statutory information report. Information on the Local Authority's SEND offer is available in the link below.
SEND Information Report
Our SEND Report outlines how we identify, support and monitor the progress of our children with additional needs.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact our Special Educational Needs Coordinator Miss Bettley, who will be more than happy to help.
